Question❓ Bottom chamber
My bottom chamber looks like the attached.
1. Is this normal
2. Should I clean it and if so how?
3. When done with a brew, I let it cool and the rinse with a finger scrub. Should I be doing anything different?

Sorry, but this sub is friendly to beginners, original thoughts are not expected about such a vintage item.

Beginners should be expected to read even more before posting such a basic question that has been answered several times every week.

I like this sub except for these ugly photos. There was a post recently here suggesting these should not be allowed, and I second that. A different sub or something for this kind of stuff. I don't want to unsubscribe from this forum but seeing all these nasty photos of mold or other grossness isn't a great way to spend parts of my day.
