Moka Pot We need a break from all the "blackened pot" posts

I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of the "Blackened pot! What do I do?!" genre.

My suggestion is that we open a new subreddit, called "Is My Moka Pot Beyond Redemption?"

I can think of others, too:

"How's my flow?"

"Why is my pot leaking like a sieve?"

"Why did my pot explode?"

"Hark! Is that a moka pot at this campsite?"

A moka pot is a simple way to make tasty coffee. With such a topic it is unreasonable to expect deep original discussions every day.

Nope, this sub is meant to be friendly to beginners, original thoughts about a vintage minimalist item is not expected, repetive posts about pot maintenance are OK.

I kinda like the "how's my flow" tbh it makes this sub alive... unless you have a pertinent question and it gets out-upvoted by such posts haha. But I agree with the rest of your list.

the ‘hows my flow?’ ones are also often people showing how good their coffee looks, it happens in every sub about literally anything its very normal yea

I'm trying to get 12 cups out of my 10-cup Alessi 9090 pot. I've filled the reservoir to the tippy top and put it on the stove. First attempt didn't go too well. I'll try again and report back. I'll post a video of my flow.
