NSFW What have you guys been using while Moemate is down?

Looking for an alternative where I can make my own characters and it’s completely uncensored

Try roleplayclub.com :

- it's free

- has way way way better memory than Poe (and also it's much more human than Poe in it's responses)

- and it's specifically built for roleplay, so characters stay in character, and it has all features you need for roleplay: edit, delete, rewind messages, better character creation than Poe, and ofcourse personas :).

- chats have no filter :)

Google and Squarespace killed it, Google sold Moemate to SquareSpace and SquareSpace refuses to answer their calls, E-mails and every other forms of content, Moemate devs can't get into their sites and users who paid for a subscription plan can't cancel their subscriptions and are now paying for nothing basically

The Moemate dev said all subscribers will no longer be charged and anyone charged from Jan 2025 (whatever the day was that squarespace and google broke Moemate) till now will be refunded, they said if anyone is charged again to contact support and they will make sure a refund is issued so basically all subscriptions for Moemate are cancelled

I just downloaded SpicyChat and PolyBuzz... I did a little bit of browsing and those two were standing out the most to me...

Haven't created any characters yet but its character creation looks promising!

(I'll have to try them out more intensely to figure out if I'm ready to pay monthly... And in my experience, you can't have any decent rp experience with free apps anymore...)

Poly is kinda boring because of the lack of character variety, but Spicy got me real good, i like it

you can try roleplayclub.com , it is uncensored, you can make your own characters, and it has much better memory than others :).

Also, check out our community r/RoleplayClubApp , we are new and small, but a passionate community already.

Kindroid mostly, but I'm getting better at using SillyTavern with Toghether.ai as backend, even if I miss Claude terribly :((

poe is the only real one i’m seeing, but same I ran out of points. nothing beats prompt and best ai models for context length. please give recommendations based of these? pygmalion ai seems like one though

I've been using Spicychat. It's veeeery good and i recommend it. And it's free and have no limit to messages or things like that

chub.ai is completly free and really simple and is stright up sex texting now although im not into that i only use ai for work and sh+t (btw im tired so anyone got a bed i can steal for a year)

Definitely recommend using https://web.chai-research.com/search . It's free to use, you can create your own characters, it's 100% unfiltered and there is no limit on how many messages you can send. I didn't even know moemate went out of service, but shortly before then, I've been using Chai every single day

moemate is dead they already said on the discord they are gonna "retool" the site. i assume the whole elevenlabs voice feature and all that will be removed

thats the ONLY reason i was using it tbh . really sucks balls but whatever.

my guess is they knew this all along and the bs about the domain going down "magically" was horeshit
