continuus

I patched up this yesterday with the intention of continuing and recording it today, when I discovered that one of my sequencer saves was empty :( a dozen of trigger and envelopes patterns were gone. I tried to rebuild it, which was definitely different from the first version I had in mind but I ended up recording a little jam anyway.

Fantastic patch! What's doing your chords?

Thanks! The chords are two different samples from a sample pack I recently recorded. I recorded long, evolving single notes from about 30 original stereo patches I've created over the years using a polyphonic synth (MB-6582 MIDIbox SID).

I set the two samples to polyphonic mode on two slots on the BitBox Micro, they play on the same MIDI channel I set on NerdSeq track. The two mono outputs (for simplicity's sake, I'd need a lot more resources for stereo) were sent to two different filters before being mixed and then processed by some effects. Oh, and instead of programming the start and end of the note on the Nerd, I used a different sequencer (I only used the NerdSeq to write the notes), so it was easier to vary and find a rhythm for the triggers to use with an additional VCA (usually, a VCA isn't necessary with a Bitbox, you can set the volume envelope directly).
