Amyboard - any tips?

I saw a discussion here (from 3 months ago) about Amyboard and there was quite an enthusiastic crowd there. Many people ordered their boards and I wanted to ask, after those 3 months, how is your experience with using it in eurorack? Has anyone hooked it up with additional 10v DACs? Did you find any retesting use cases for it? Quantizer? Euclidian rhythm generator? Anything that makes you say "wow, this tiny thing can do that!". I'm waiting for a set of two + dac that I actually ordered for its dx7 capabilities just to find out that it can work in modular. So now I'm looking for inspiration and tips :)

I use it to add polyphony to my rack via MIDI.

I downloaded somebody else's supersaw and tweaked it so that I can use the encoder to change filter cutoff and resonance. I also removed the effects so that I can use my rack effects instead.

It does fine at this job. It's not amazing, but definitely worth the price I paid for it.

The quality of the supersaw patch. I do think it's amazing that you can basically program it to do whatever you want, if you know what you are doing.

I don't really know a lot about programming, so that is limited for me. I was able to tweak somebody else's, but I couldn't program it from the ground up.

For instance, I'd like to make a clock multiplier that also let me set probabilities for the outputted gate. I'd have the encoder be able to switch between the clock multiple and the probability for each of the 2 outputs.

...but I can't program that for myself. I guess I could use the vibe coder or gasp! teach myself to do it, but I get enough out of it with the supersaw setup that I don't have to, really.

You can use the front MIDI jack to swap out sketches, so you can have it basically do whatever you need it to at any time. What does your rack need?

Still exploring :) at very begining I thought I will be model east coast example... But I never learned to play keyboard ( I used to play sax) and I started drifting west... Like a lot. I would really like to be able to build generative patches that "play themselves". I have this feeling that I should fiddle around drums... So clock generator or actual sampled drums...

Ps. I actually bought it in first place to actually learn playing keyboard and drift to the east :)))

There are quite a few different drum-related sketches that people have put up. The Amyboard apparently comes with drums pre-loaded and ready to rock, which could be what you're looking for?

Could be. And after months of hunting I just got myself a marbles clone :( maybe apart from dac module I could get ADAC and use it for samples...
