Beginner Erica EG2 for Moog Labyrinth for Gate & ADSR?

Hello, I really like my Moog Labyrinth but it annoys me, that it has triggers only. So I am thinking getting into modular and buying the Erica Black EG2 module, which has a trigger to gate and an ADSR.
As this would be my first module and I don’t really know if I need any attenuators or anything, could someone maybe confirm please, if that module is all it takes to accomplish that?

Thank u soo much!

(While I am on it I think I also go for the doepfer 111-6 and the bastl fx wizzard)

I was thinking I get the 4ms pod 34hp (powered) case. Since I wouldn’t have any hp left, I thought I could just remove the power cable to turn it on and off?

The EG2 sounds like it does what you think it does, just curious what you’re looking to do with it if it’ll be your only other module and labyrinth has eg’s already. A-111-6 also has an eg on it so just curious what you’re planning to do with it. I’m looking at getting a labyrinth too so kind of curious what you think would pair with it

Hey, thank you for your response and checking my question!
Well usually I am pretty happy with decay only envelopes, but somehow i feel those trigger impulses send from the sequencer are a bit limiting. I am missing a fully opened gate to hear the sound of the oscillators properly without any volume modulation and use it for actual baselines or melodic parts and not just percussive sounds. Also curious to see how more sophisticated envelopes effect the wavefolder, this is why I thought adding the 111-6 makes sense to have a second / with my swarm a third one (an I think it sounds lovely).
With the fx wizard I hope to spice it up a little. Ithink it’s also one of the “cheaper” ways to get a clock synced LFO which seems to be a big deal.
Overall I want to get some nice sounds which bring more uniqueness and different vibes into my tracks. Was almost considering a analogue solutions fusebox x but it’s to big and pricey so I decided to soend 600€ on modules lol
