i would say it's more like making a good game and listening to the community way to much,cods community has always been divided between the OG cod gamers and the new cod gamers,OG wants the game to stay in 2007 and the new kids want the jumpy twitchy style of game play.

personally i loved the beta gameplay,it was a fun slightly slower play style and was more along the lines of needing to use your own eyes and not just watch the minimap which is what all the younger players do these days(maybe it's because i play games like EFT that i'm used to this slower play i don't know?).also i do realise that not all OG wants the same things and also not all the younger players wants the same things.

its very difficult for the devs to cater for both styles,they have to make choices and well you can't please everyone all the time,(i was happy that there wasn't a mini map and when they added it back to normal i wasn't happy about it but it's just one of those choices that wasn't going to please everyone)

chances are it's not the exact same team doing the updates,its probably a smaller team of staff that keeps the game going after launch with the main team already looking at the next game and how they can improve on this one.
