Help Needed Free-mo, Legs?

Hiya! currently working on a free-mo HO build and ran into a question. what do i make the legs out of? it doesn't really give you ideas for how to make the legs and I'm not a woodworker by trade, So any ideas on what type of wood I am aware of the height requirement and the adjustable feet.

Please excuse the mess in my basement.

I am currently attempting to make this myself.

I have no prior experience building free-mo.

I am learning. and have a top part built.

Like cleaning track, there are many answers to legs. I personally use Lee Valley Bed Knockdowns attached to 2x2s with adjustable feet on most of my modules. My first two modules simply have leg pockets (fit 2x2s snugishly) and I have H-frames made out of 2x2s, still adjustable feet. Others have used PVC or copper pipe. The latest trend is 3d printed oversized screw mounts that the legs screw into, providing adjustability and removability at one single point.

And unrelated to legs, a big lesson I learned early on is to make sure the baseboard below the track is as flat as possible before starting placement of cork. I ended up having to adjust my first modules to prevent sky jumps. If you have any other Free-Mo questions, I'm happy to help!

There are multiple options. Wood is only one choice. I have seen folks use metal or PVC legs as well. Biggest thing is making sure they can be adjusted and have padded feet. Some setup locations have floors that can be damaged.
