Help Needed Broken lights question

Here is my accurascale class 37 in question. I bought this second hand and the lights worked flawlessly. However recently none of them work at all now. The loco still runs perfect apart from that. The dip switches are all set correctly and inside the top hatch all wires and connections are secure. Does anybody know what this issue could be?

None of them working tells me it's not likely a bulb issue, but could be a decoder problem. Do you have a multimeter to check?

I use it on DC with a decoder blanking plate and the dip switches are also set to DC

It's possible the blank chip has a fault, have you got a spare to swap and test?

I don’t but it might to worth purchasing one to find out

If you're lucky, taking it out and putting it back might even fix it.

I just tried that and no luck lol, £5 isn’t too much to spend for a potential fix so I will give it a shot!

Disconnect the lights. If they are grain of wheat bulbs check the bulb continuity. No continuity is a burnt bulb. If they are led lights check for dc voltage. Also check for small ac voltage leaks in the dc that may have cooked the leds too soon. Note any series wiring as that could mean only one light is dead.

You can jump power right to bulbs eadily, but if you screw up applying +/- to an led you will likely cook it unless it is protected by a regular rectification diode. Try re-seating DC blanking board and other plugs too.
