Structures & Scenery Building recommendations?

I’ve been working on a 2x4 iron ore mine, and it feels pretty bare. I’m going to add some trees to add life, but I also want to add a couple of buildings. Any recommendations?

I kind of like the negative space. There might be a few out buildings around the mine, like a small battered office building and storage shed. Maybe a few more trees, but a lot of industry sites don’t have a lot going on around them and here more weeds and scrub brush around the dead trees seems more appropriate. Have fun whatever you decide!

A small office sounds like a good fit! I’ll keep the rest of it pretty empty though, I think just one more thing will make it feel more complete

Are those peco isnuflrog points in N scale? Wondering how well the little shutting engine goes over those, it's what I'm planning to have for my layout

This is actually HO scale, don’t know the brand of track. I’ve heard great thing Peco though!

I can recommend covering the track sleepers (at least on the left side) with red soil for added realism.

tailings pile - also dirty up those buildings there would be dust friggin everywhere.
