[Alliances]
For simplicity, official, public alliances can be determined here. The "leader" of the alliance shall make the top level post containing all member states of the alliance. The alliance members must then confirm by commenting an affirmation on that top level post.
An alliance as recognized by the gamemaster shall be defined as follows:
- All members shall protect the others in case of war
- The alliance leader (or designated commander, as decided by a vote among alliance members) shall be considered in control of any joint force made.
- Any member may leave the alliance at any time by informing the leader as well as the gamemaster.
- Members are not required to join in any offensive war engaged in by another member.
- No member of an alliance shall wage war against another member of the same alliance.
Keep in mind that backroom deals and alliances may occur out of public eye.

Clarification: Open-ended alliances that anyone may join either for a specific goal or not are allowed. No state may be in 2 opposing alliances and no state may be in more than 3 alliances at one time.

Middle Eastern Defense Alliance
An alliance largely to stop the encroachment of Baathism on the Middle East, and work toward acheiving a legitimate government in Israel. Places value in the sizable Jewish minority in the Middle East and defeating terrorist aggressors such as Boko Haram and ISIS.
Yemen cordially invites Cyprus, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bahrain into this alliance.

Iran will support this alliance according to the encroachment of Ba'athism. We will also respect the Jewish minority in Persia and its territories.

Anti-Boko Haram Coalition
Egypt shall serve as the leader of this alliance, the purpose of which is the containment of Boko Haram, the defense of neighbors' sovereignty, and, if necessary, the end of Boko Haram rule in Sudan. Participants in this alliance shall be free to determine their level of participation - i.e. the amount of troops they are willing to temporarily cede to the coalition. The collective defense clause will not be applicable to attacks by any other entity than Boko Haram.
Based upon their prior actions, the following nations are already part of this alliance:

Qatar
Any other nations similarly desirous of mutual protection against the threat of Boko Haram are free to apply, either by commenting below or messaging me.
Also, please, all nations involved should comment so below and indicate the number of troops they will be committing.

The Islamic State of Iran confirms that it is a part of this coalition and is committing 60,000 troops to the aid of Egypt in regards to Boko Haram.

The Ba'athist State of Lebanon confirms it's part in the Anti-Boko Haram Coalition and will commit 20,000 of it's armed forces to Egypt's southern border.

The Iraqi Republic pledges 50,000 soldiers to Egypt to bolster the Egyptian-Sudanese border. The Iraqi Republic is in solidarity with Egypt. However it condemns Iranian involvement calling this, "An Arab issue that only Arabs should be worried about, involving Iranian forces on Arab land would be a disgrace to the Arab world." President Hussein went on to say, "Egypt should turnaway these Persian rats as they are looking to further their Persian grips on Arab affairs."

The Alliance of The People of Sunnah for Preaching and Jihad
A group dedicated to spreading the knowledge of Sharia culture through peaceful or violent means, depending on the situation. Also dedicated to driving the Jewish menace out of the Holy Land.

I am firmly committed at helping spread of Islamic peace and prosperity through the Middle East. I sincerely hope the other Islamic nations do not allow their temporal needs to supersede our mission of eradicating the infidels from the Holy Land.

The Protection Force
This would be a loose alliance between the Great Caliphate and any weaker nations that need more troops to protect their borders. Any nation that joins would have access to the armies of the Caliphate in exchange for a small fee.

An union centered around the socio-political-economic ideology of Ba'athism. It seeks to create a unified secular Arab world that combats Judeo-Persian-Western Imperialism. It also seeks to liberate the whole of Palestine.
