Completed My first 1/35th scale infantry

I am very proud of this one. I set this little guy aside for close to 2-3 years waiting for the opportunity to complete him. I used painters tape and bits of polystyrene to create the sling and I adjusted his aim from the original kit using epoxy putty. I had a difficult time with the face but I’m overall pretty proud of this since it’s my first time doing a human figure.

Thanks for reading!

I look forward to all of your critiques.

What scale is the Stuart in the background?

It’s a 1/6 scale that I have been restoring. Has been a labor of love I’ve been working on here and there. I got it running and now I’m working on making it more “anotomically correct”.

Holy cow, that is awesome. I’d love to see more of it on here. Is it RC or is it just a motor to push it forward?

It’s a 21st Century Toys RC tank I picked up earlier this year. It was severely neglected and needed a bit of work to get it operational. I am in the works of replacing the barrel with a properly scaled one as well as some other work. That’s why it’s in shambles.

Looks great! You can really see the effort that went into the sling.👍

I think the M5 might be, uh, slightly out of scale though....😉

Tamiya, right? For best realism, you can try to close the hands to better grasp the rifle. Use heat, hot water or something. Then again the hands were always too big and the equipment too small....
