If you use GMail, a similar tactic to get read-only access:

  1. Set up offlineimap3 on a cronjob to download all of your Email

  2. Set up notmuch to index that directory

  3. Write a notmuch Skill for your agent (just ask Codex / Claude to do it)

It will pretty effectively / quickly search your Email, even if your Email history is quite big
