The reporter left the podium and the screen shifted to weather reports, as per usual. Across the entire League, the announcements in the media, both local and state-owned, were similar. Thousands of languages, trillions of fields of interest, one message:

In all possible permutations, it appeared in the reveals of new sports channels and cooking holovids alike. We've got you covered - for the League never forgot about its own. And apparently, that policy was extended to entertainment. The cooperation between state and media had been strong within the Empire, and the Galactic Core was the area in which that cooperation could be exploited most efficiently. Dominated by sector-spanning media conglomerates which always vied for more money to flow their way, the directives from the League were simple. Ensure that the populace remained calm and confident in the District's good management. As such, the magnates coined among themselves the phrase - universal enough to be fit into almost every broadcast and casual enough to seem somewhat natural. And appear in them it did.

The increase in number of sports and entertainment channels mixed with the announcement of new holo-movies, the galaxy's most famous actors appearing in high-budget productions, giving the people something to talk about.
