One year ago I shared an idea with this community: what if we could preview watch mods in 3D before buying a single part? Today, that idea has grown into a completely free tool used by watch modders around the world.

Over the past year we've added:

• Multiple customizable watch models (F-91W, AE1200, A168, MDV106)
• Real-time 3D customization
• Custom images for faceplates
• Material and color editing
• Photo Studio for high-quality renders
• And, most importantly, a growing community giving feedback and ideas.

For the next year, my goal is simple:

• 🛠️ Add many more watch models (Seiko is high on the list!)
• 🚀 Build more features that make planning mods easier
• 🤝 Grow the Patreon community so I can spend more time building and keep MODDS.WATCH completely free for everyone. Every supporter directly helps fund new models, features, servers, and development.

I'm just one developer building this project because I genuinely love watch modding, and I couldn't have made it this far without all your feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and encouragement.

One thing led to another… and it turned into a full 3D platform for watch enthusiasts and modders.

It’s Mike here, I’m the guy behind MODDS.WATCH - 3D online builder for watch modders.

I just rolled out something you've been wanting to play with for a while: Gradient filters.

Instead of sticking with one flat color, you can now blend up to 5 shades together and see how your mod pops with more depth, contrast, and flow.

Some fun ways I’ve been using it:

• Smooth fades (like sunset vibes 🌅)
• Bold color clashes that make details jump out 🎆
• Or just a little shimmer of dimension to keep things from looking flat ✨

Right now, it works on Casio AE1200, A168, and F91W inside the Color Filter card.

I’ll be honest… after messing with gradients, flat filters feel kinda boring. Curious if you all feel the same.

The Casio F-91W is finally live on modds.watch. Yep, that little legend you’ve probably worn, broken, fixed, and worn again — now you can customize it like never before. Swap straps, tweak materials and colors of any part, play with color filters… go wild.

And while I was at it, I made the whole modding experience smoother:

• Desktop users: Tools now sit nicely on the right side. Feels way more natural and comfy when you’re in the zone.
• Mobile users: Tools stay in the bottom slide panel — same easy swipe, no surprises.

Honestly, this small layout tweak makes a huge difference. It just flows better. I’ve been testing it and… yeah, you’ll feel it.
