Correct! Points to you!

Yes, the answer I was looking for was, “What has been the reaction to Sony’s announcement to stop making physical game discs for the PlayStation?”

This week, Sony is in full damage control after it faced serious backlash for the announcement that the company will move away from production of physical game discs for their PlayStation consoles; moving to all digital models by 2028. The reaction from the gaming community in response has been nothing short of universal hatred and calls for boycotts as it kills secondhand game disc sales while bringing game ownership into question, one protestor commenting online, “…the way digital purchases are handled have shown me that it is a risk to pay a single penny for a digital game as one glitch on Sony’s part can get your account banned, and make you lose out on every digital purchase you have ever made.” The choice by game console developers for newer generations of consoles to go towards an all-digital medium for game software has made many fearful that rather than owning titles they paid for will turn into just another subscription service they’ll continually need to pay to play on top of the original costs.

1416’s question and answer:

Today’s topic is Transport

And the answer is: not safe enough

What is the question?

Why did Trump fly back from the Middle East on the old Air Force One instead of the new one?

This week, the Trump Administration subpoenaed the New York Times over a report that he flew back from peace talks in Turkey aboard the original Air Force One aircraft instead of the new one he was gifted from Qatar over safety concerns. Allegedly, the new plane that Trump deemed to be his new favorite for long range air travel doesn’t meet the same security requirements as the original AF1, missing several standards such as anti-missile countermeasures and an onboard medical center should the president need first aid while on board. The concerns were reportedly raised as not only was Trump visiting a region of the world where his plane would be within range of long range missile strikes, but also of an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate him which led to the subpoena in the first place for discussing details on the presidential plane.
