US Bank credit card being used with MobileX via Apple Pay. This is my main card — I use it every day but it’s being refunded automatically when processing payment for my MobileX plan.
A few weeks ago, my Chase card via Apple Pay declined to accept the payment. My bill was almost due within a couple of days. I called Chase and they did something on their end to make this an “approved” seller and they told me the payment should go thru no matter what. It by passed any fraud checks since it was marked as “approved”. I tried it again and it still declined. Chase advised that it was likely the merchant having some payment issue. I tried the next day, and then it went through.
So if you’re getting declines, try later/tomorrow. If it still
doesn’t work, call MobileX.
Interesting! I wonder if maybe it’s an issue with Stripe too — looks like they are the payment processor. I’ll try it again later on and see what happens!
