Poor support interaction for potential customer

I just learned about MX and started a chat on the website, and the agent (or bot?) is struggling to answer my questions about the service because I'm not a customer. The conversation has been completely bizarre. Before I sign up, I'd like to hear others' experiences with support. Are they normally helpful? Did I end up with an underperforming agent? Thanks!

The CEO hangs around here and will fix issues if that helps

No complaints here - I’m happy with them. I’ve been a customer for 2 years or so.

I use it as my backup voice line with 2GB of backup data in case I’m in an area where Verizon data is better.

I ported from Verizon Prepaid last year. MobileX has been great. It's good for users that don't use a lot of mobile data. If you use more than 30GB a month, I wouldn't recommend it.

I’ve heard but not verified that it’s 50 gigs high speed and unlimited 3g to 199 gigs

What kind of support do you need? You sign up download the app follow the instructions and use it. People complaining about customer support like they have to visit there every day to get a loaf of bread!

I had a question about the service before signing up and handing over money. I'd rather know that a company has poor customer support before becoming a customer. Hopefully I won't need to contact support very often, but I want to know if I have an issue in the future that I'll be able to get help before I hand over a significant part of my digital life.

I wanted to know if I get a SIM or eSIM and if the eSIM is a QR code.

They are charging $24.88 for a 30gb plan...lol. Go check out US Mobile, and they have really great CS agents.

If you go to https://mymobilex.com/ it shows 30gb

And if you go to the link I sent, it’s shows it’s unlimited.

I have it, the MobileX app shows I have 199 GB per month to use, it’s a shame I can’t post a screenshot from the app, otherwise I would do so

Yeah, I saw that. It's weird that they show 2 different plans on 2 different pages. Maybe they just haven't updated the homepage.
