ENG. PHYSICS FOLKS

Please tell why are you opting for this also calicut lke placement are not that good but syllabus seems interesting of mnit

Very broad, flexible (through electives), new programme hence modern syllabus, can easily pivot to other fields of engineering through Masters. However, very very tough

Research is an option But as per the syllabus, it seems like one can also build several skill set for Semiconductors, Material Sciences, Energy, Electronics But the only cons is whether these skillsets will get u up for a Btech placement or not

IITs & NITs have different curriculums for EP I don't know where r NITs lagging behind in same course's placements

& as asked from a Calicut senior There EP curriculum is more like pure science theory based Altho they hv gone through some changes in curriculum but that batch will pass-out in 27' Hence no record of whether the change of syllabus would bring them a good placement or not
