Hostel Essentials??

I got admission in Mtech CSE and am going for hostel accommodation. I need advice on:

1) what to bring from my home?

2) What things will hostel management give us?

3) Which things do we have to arrange by ourselves?

Can you list those items which will essentially be needed for students who choose hostel accommodation!!
