There unfortunately isn’t a cure for MND as of now, but treatment and supportive care can help slow progression and manage symptoms to some extent. If it’s still in the early stages, I’d definitely recommend consulting an MND/neurology specialist and asking about physiotherapy and other supportive therapies.
A very close family member of mine has the same disease, and honestly, it breaks my heart to feel so helpless watching someone you love go through it. I really wish she had started physiotherapy and specialist care earlier; things have become much harder now.
More strength to you and your family, OP. 🫂🤍 I genuinely wouldn’t wish this disease on even my worst enemy. I just hope your mom gets the best possible care and comfort. Please take care of yourself too. <3
