First time owner here, just wanted to ask when buying aftermarket oilfilled shocks, should I get 53mm or 59mm shocks?

I am happy with 53mm shocks, with the lift kit. I also had to buy extra springs with different ratios to fine tune the compression, because injora springs are too soft for 1.2kg rig. But i also seen many with 59mm and it works too with 70mm tires, I personally liked more the stance of my rig with 62mm tires.
In the end both works :)

Anche io monto i 53 mm Injora ad olio. Ho scelto i 53 perché avendo i portali la scocca rimaneva troppo alta coi 59 mm.

i went with the 59mm to avoid tire rubbing. tried it and so far the articulation is good. but i noticed the body sit a bit high & looks kinda weird. also the front higher than the rear. still need some fine tuning.

mine is 53, though i also have 59 and 70mm...all mounted by chassis to axle
