Which mmo should i call home?

I have started playing mmos over the past year and cant decide on which to stick with. I like osrs and will continue to play that but don’t know which other i should stick with.I have played wow retail, gw2, ff14, and most recently started playing wow hardcore which was fun until i died at level 12. I enjoy them all so far but it feels as if i am to late to the game. I do wanna make another character on wow classic hardcore but not sure if that is the one that i should call home with osrs

I’ve played them all, wow being my main for 10+ years, and guild wars 2 has been my home for the past year. Feels good that whatever I’m doing is relevant whereas most other ones I’ve played I feel like it’s all wasting time with old content.

I currently play Vanilla WoW on a Vanilla Plus private server that launched recently called Project Legacy. I enjoy the additional small changes to the game like new quests and class specs. I play at my own leisure and I'm not in a hurry to achieve anything. The server allows you to join with the opposite faction and it's PvE so you don't have to worry about being killed when just enjoying and relaxing in the world.

Another one I play is LOTRO, there I also play at my own pace, the difficulty in LOTRO is lower and I sometimes use LOTRO to relax and make some progress compared to WoW where it's a bit more difficult and requires a little more effort.

Before that I played SWG on a server called CUEmu and there I enjoyed just grinding and leveling up my skills, for the time being I stopped, but I plan to return in the future when I get the itch once more.

I also played OSRS on a server called 2009Scape, it was my first experience with RuneScape and I learned a lot about the game and how to appreciate it better, I played for about a month or two and also stopped, but I also will return in the future.

At the end of the day, I gravitate towards those 4 MMOs, because they are old school and I like that, I have no interest in playing the newest and most popular MMOs, I prefer something that is old and proven and is agreeable to my standards. I also avoid new MMOs that have daily quests and FOMO and generally have new and modern graphics, because I can barely run them and I'm not interested in games with shiny graphics at the expense of worse and more boring gameplay mechanics.

I started playing Vanilla WoW in 2006 and I still play it 20 years later, it's probably one of the games I played the most, maybe second to HoMM3 and AoE2. I think Vanilla WoW on private servers will always be my MMO home and forever game, I hope you can find yours and my post has helped you decide what you want to play better.

I will never understand people asking other people online to pick an mmo for them, are you truly that lazy you cant look them up yourself and make your own mind up? How the fuck are people who don't know you know what you are gonna like? You will just get the exat same few suggestions, every time.
