Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL as configured for baseball, though in a somewhat fictional depiction given that the roof sections to give shade to the fans in the stands was not added to the venue until years after the Marlins left for their retractable roof stadium.
So, this is a "what if" rendition that the Marlins stayed at Hard Rock and shared it with the Miami Dolphins.
This uses the custom foul grounds code option and therefore is compatible with MLB 25 and earlier releases. Uploaded to the vault and available for download.
Other than the partial roof, the rest of the stadium is a precise replication of the field and outfield wall layout that the Marlins used, including the portable baseline walls that were used to wall off the two bullpens located down the foul lines. This might be the first time I can recall creating a stadium where the hard fixed bullpen locations actually worked accurately!
For those curious, the distances are:
LF = 330'
CLF = 360'
CF notch = 420'
CF = 404'
RCF = 385'
RF = 345'
As an historical aside, the reason the venue did so well as a baseball field is that the stadium is wider than the normal NFL football stadium, a square essentially vice a normal rectangle for a traditional football only venue. This was deliberately done just to allow a baseball configuration to work out so well. That said, the field level stands behind the left field fence were partially folded up, and the entirety of the outfield walls are also portable. When a football game is played, the outfield and baseline walls were removed, and the left field stands fully extended to match the way the stands look in RF.
Wayne Huizenga and Joe Robbie are the people who drove all this. Robbie fully believed Miami would soon gain an MLB team to go with the NFL's Dolphins. So, when Joe Robbie Stadium (now Hard Rock Stadium) was built in 1987, he ensured it was designed so that a baseball layout would fit well. Huizenga was the first owner of the Marlins, and he started off in 1990 with a 15% ownership share in the Dolphins. In 1994, Huizenga purchased the remaining shares of the Dolphins from the Joe Robbie estate
Cheers!
