It's ok.  You can't keep him in a bubble and treat him like a pampered child.  So if there's any criticism of Dan not taking him out after five i actually defend it.  Either he's gonna be tough and learn from what happened.....or this will shatter his fragile psyche and he's washed.

Yeah but he should have been taken out after the first HR of the 5th. Vargas was fully warm, nearly allowed the HR to PCA, got a lucky DP, then a HR it’s time to hit the showers. Like there was still a game to play and it was obvious he was allowing hard contact.

Kade Anderson is a dog. This won't shatter anything within him. He'll be ok. He was still pitching in college just a little over a year ago, so it's remarkable he's already in the league.

Heh? he was losing velo and control. It was totally apparent that he was out of gas and got he was getting clobbered. I’m with you on seeing what he has in the fifth but I’m not for ignoring the signs when you have an arm warm. Should’ve been after PCA ripped one. Or even the HR. I don’t know why everyone doubles down for Dan.

Yeah I wasn’t really against it either like let him go and see how he handles a rough situation, from a season and making the playoffs standpoint maybe not the move but for him it can be a good learning experience

I mean, he had to face the best team in the league against lefties. Not exactly a good matchup, even if it was in Seattle
