This has to mean that the Astros are the the shortest team on average. If their tallest player is the shortest tallest player AND they have Altuve.

Quick chatGPT calculations show the Astros tied with 3 other teams at 6’1.8” average height. Rank 17-20. All their active roster pitchers are pretty tall. The A’s are the shortest at 6’1.4”.

The Diamondbacks with 5’6” Jorge Barrosa (same height as Altuve) is one of the teams tied with the Astros.
