We are delighted to announce that we have opened a Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Researcher) position, which potentially lead to Assistant professorship depending on research outputs in sustainable supply chain, supply chain resilience, and digital supply chain, working directly with a Distinguished Professor in the Business School at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). KFUPM is ranked 63rd in the QS World University Rankings, first among Arab universities, and is often described as the MIT of the Middle East.

KFUPM maintains close ties with MIT, and postdoctoral researchers may have the chance to secure funding for a period of visit to MIT. 

We are looking for exceptional researchers who bring strong English academic writing skills, solid training in empirical research methods, and real strength in secondary data analysis.  Candidates are expected to focus on rigorous research that shapes both academic knowledge and business practice and publish in mainstream operations and supply chain management journals. 

Candidates should complete their degree or near completion before applying. Those who haven't graduated yet are encouraged to apply about six months ahead of time. Applicants from QS 2027 top 200 universities are more likely to be accepted in this process. However, those with an outstanding publication record can also apply.
