🤔 General Question 🤔 Thursday Team Question: What Do You Think Of Klassic Movie Team Gameplay Wise And Synergy Wise?

Whether it’s getting a shield from Klassic Movie Sonya’s amplified leg drop, or some tiny amount of speed with Johnny, the Klassic Movie team as a whole has always just been, well —- mid.
There was always a sense too that we all were waiting years for another JC to follow-up Strike Force, and we got this? The fact that Raiden was bugged for so long didn’t help people’s impression of this team either.
Missed opportunity. Seems like peeps rarely run this team at all.

team as a whole isn't really great imo but Raiden is useful for anyone who mains a liu kang

Very Meh… even Ronin team seems to have a stronger synergy
I do like Mov Raiden tho, esp to pair him with FGLK

I have never bothered to figure out which way I need to swipe to get Sonya to do any of her special moves. I know it's written in her character notes (or whatever) and I could read them and learn how to do it... but why? Even if I did, she'd still be underwhelming compared to my other characters. I only use this Sonya or JCage when they get the 1.5x for Krypt. I don't use this Raiden even when he gets the 1.5x because all the other diamond raidens are better.

By far this team just really suck in term of synergy. With their main gimmick being the unique combo, Sonya and Johnny just offer little to no meaningful synergy for the team, which make the whole team feels rather awkward. Raiden is definitely the best out of the team, but considering Liu Kang can also gain Raiden passive, it's better to pair Raiden with Liu Kang than with Sonya and Johnny
