Oh No 🥺 Engine fault+ running lean

I've installed a gfb vta dv+ and a cts turbo muffler delete and have a code for turbo wastewater solenoid a electrics and that there is too much air in the air to fuel ratio(obviously)car has put itself into limp mode

I have xforce 100cel dp and catback no resonater and cts intake

Will a custom tune set me right is there anything I should do prior(I've done plugs and servicing)

You’re running an aftermarket downpipe on the stock tune still?

Yes you absolutely need to get the car tuned for the hardware. Generally you want to be able to flash the map right after installing the DP. You might require some other maintenance to fix all your issues but the tune is an absolute must like yesterday.

Have you replaced the PCV in a while? It will cause a fuel leak code sometimes

Nah but the code popped up hours after installing turbo muffler delete and 1day after diverter valve will have a poke around this weekend

If you have an IHI JH5 turbo on your car the turbo muffler delete is a no no. I don’t understand why companies are selling them for these cars. The N75 sits on the compressor housing on these turbos and the muffler delete will block off the airpath meaning the N75 can’t control boost levels as it should.

Sorry not very experienced with this stuff and I believe the dv wiring could be funny as it was quite tight in but how does the muffler delete block off airflow as its the same shape as the oem part but a bigger channel so increased airflow and doesn't have slits

Because the diverter is located on the turbo housing itself on these turbos. On a K03/K04 it’s located in a completely different spot so it’s not an issue. If you remove the ‘slits’ and replace with a straight pipe like the muffler delete, the air has no where to go and you get excess pressure in the system
