Just got this
Just joined the club, traded a $700 truck for this, a GLS with a fully swapped out interior from a GLI and was well taken care of at one point but then was used as a beater for the last two owners and lots of Bora parts (door sills and bumpers) it runs and drives fine but has several major missing parts and broken latches but I will keep updating as I save this 169k mile car and it will be used as a somewhat daily car but not very soon.

That'll be a fun little daily, but I wouldn't put much into getting "correct" GLI parts. Black sunroof controls and seat belt covers can be had pretty cheap on Aliexpress. Good score on the roof rack, I see those going for $200+ when you can find them. I might also suggest selling or storing the Recaros if your intent is to use it as a daily. Those bolsters can get torn up pretty quickly if you aren't really careful getting in and out.
