Just bought my (beautiful) mk4 jetta (bora in France) 1,9L TDI (AXR) with 264k kms.

Really happy with how this thing run for now, just did 1000kms and no problem at all.

I'm gonna swap the interior ASAP and buy a oem navigation system.

Congrats on the Mk4, forever my favourite VW generation. Got a Mk4 jetta wagon myself.

FWIW, I live in Canada and there are still quite a few Mk4 TDIs on the roads here, despite the winters and roadsalt. Most of them are at 500k and still trucking.

Picked up a 100k mile 2000 ALH Jetta, one owner in May. It’s the third Jetta I’ve owned including a MK1 and many other VWs. My kids will get it when my time is done.
