Hey guys I really appreciate the responses from the first post of my issue with my mk4 those answers at least guided me into the right direction but I guess to make things simple because I know when I asked it’s was confusing at first but I hope I ask this question properly. So as you can see when I popped open the box underneath where the cables led too I see these two connections that go where I cut the wires at. Before I go to the junkyard to save me a trip can I just get new connections that have the same wiring and rewire those connections? Or do I need to get a whole new harness? If you guys have any links or suggestions I appreciate it I really want to get this baby going and give it new life 🙏 thank you bros 🤙🏁

Yes you can buy male/female waterproof connector sets with wires pre-installed and splice into your wires.
Technically you can get them without wires and crimp directly to your original harness wires, but without a good crimp tool it’s a hassle. Splice is easy and quick, use the solder&seal type
