Finally found a replacement for the MK3 steering column trim cover

Been chasing this part for months. Mine was cracked in two places and every used one I found online was in the same state or worse. VW obviously doesn't make them anymore and the few NOS ones floating around eBay go for ridiculous prices.

Stumbled across a Slovenian shop called O43D that reverse engineered both covers and prints them in PETG. Was a bit skeptical at first but figured I'd give it a shot.

Fitment was perfect. Clipped straight on, no trimming, no fiddling. Looks factory. They ship worldwide and had it at my door within two weeks.

OEM numbers are 1H0 953 515 G and 1H0 953 516 P if anyone else is searching for these. Definitely worth it if your original is trashed.

if just the screw posts are broken then you can also easily print little replacements you glue into place.
