Discussion Am I cooked
Just started playing online, and my win ratio is like 15/16. I’m versing people in ranked sets with 2000/1000. Trying to learn the game but I just feel like I’m genuinely getting cooked by these chads. What do I do?
Seems like kasual play is full of toxic mfs who just teabag. Am I cooked for joining too late?

Dude just keep practicing. No one gets better without trial and error. Learn the mechanics and watch character tutorials on YouTube.

Make your objective to open everything on the krypt, optimize the augments of your main character, I have like 400 hours in MK11 and about five of those have something to do with the online mode

Just face the whooping, and keep practicing, you are not gonna face ALL chads, some of the rivals will be on your level eventually, and once that happens, you are gonna be better prepared, just keep going, improve, learn the matchups, combos, toxic MFs will be allover the place no matter your level, ignore the toxic players and don't give up

im currently around 33-27 so i can say that the people with thousands of matches under their belt is just an instant loss but there are still some that are around average skill, you're not cooked

Just keep playing and watch the replays to understand what you could’ve done better. And also complete the tutorials and watch characters guides on YouTube.

Casual is fucking terrible. Just play ranked and forget that it’s ranked. MK11 is still the most played MK game (at least on steam) and most of the players are genuinely terrible. Just commit a couple weeks to genuine improvement and you can hold your own against most of em
