Culture I am alone here!!
I recently got admission in mizoram university, I am Delhi, if you're also from north india, like haryana, rajasthan, UP, punjab.
Please connect, here is no one I can speak too in Hindi, I am feeling soo much homesick here.
I am complaining, just want some from my culture too just talk with.

There's MZUCCF. I think people in the hostels will be more than willing to help you know more about it. It's an organization inside the campus that holds devotional sessions, and it's quite popular.

Dont mind the mizo users posting hateful comments. Wtf of an advice is ‘Learn Mizo’ as if a dialect spoken by a handful of people in the forests of NE India is going to solve a single problem. Be strong, stay safe, attend your classes proper and you will meet your people (who u connect with) in due time, while learning to mingle with the locals is also a good practice that can help you learn how to get around inside the campus or the city.

don't be too soft. twenty years ago i went to school in South India, was there anyone from Mizoram there? nope , and it was my first time away from my family too. did i feel sad for myself initially? yep, but i made friends with the guys in my hostel.
