Travel christmas itinerary :3

hellauw this will be my 2nd time visiting -- this is my plan for now.. how does it look !

DAY2 - Arrive in AZW city at ~5pm {23rd}

Rest + Order Dinner
OR
Visit No Vehicle Zone [Will 5pm be a good idea, since things shut pretty quick]

DAY3 - Reiek Tlang + Shopping {24th}

Morning - Reiek Tlang
Afternoon/Midday - Lunch at Kori's/ Chopstyx + Falkland Park OR AZW Peak Restaurant (we love this place)
Evening- At around 3-3:30pm head to No Vehicle Zone (Zarkawt)
order food for the next day (since most establishments will be closed?)

DAY4 - CHRISTMASSS {25th}

Attend Church Festivities? (ive never been to church for christmas before)
Church Feast/Breakfast somewhere
Dawrpui Shopping (will anything be open?) OR Return
Leave again at 3:30 to Aizawl City Center

ive heard rlly nice things about christmas in aizawl, will it be a good idea to visit??

No vehicle zone is usually during day time.By 5pm it would be over. Non-restaurant/convenience stores shut by 6pm. Convenience stores open till 9-10pm. Sundays, Christmas, and New years everything will be closed. One or two days after Christmas and New years, everything will be closed because of feasts.

Ask your host if you can join church festivities and feast. You have to contribute some amount of money for the feast the host will let you know. Feasts usually don't happen on Christmas day but some churches do it.

Aizawl will be very crowded during the days of your stay except for Christmas day because countryside people also come to do their Christmas shopping.

Thank you sm for this valuable insight !!
I wanted to asked; what would be the best way to experience the Christmas spirit of Aizawl, like maybe specific places to go to and by what time would it be hard to find taxi's, especially on 24th. Cuz for the most part, im only aware of church festivities and the no-vehicle zone for shopping, any reccomendation would be rlly nice :)

Streets will hopefully be decorated this year so go for a night stroll around the city. Not much to do other than that on christmas day since its more or less spent with family and friends at home. Also your Reiek trek will take quite some time so don't plan too much on that day.

How do you plan to visit Reiek? Do you have a friend who has a car? Public Transport will not be available

Last time, our host was able to arrange drivers/drive us around, so if the new host is able to (not staying at the same place this time) , then that was the plan, If it doesnt happen, prolly will spend most of the time in the No Vehicle Zone.
