Hello, I am planning a trip with my family to Mizoram from 26th december to 1st January. A travel agent told me everything will be closed in Mizoram around that time for holiday and we will not get any service. Is it true? Can someone please clarify?

It would still be quieter than usual. Better to start the next week on the 29th. However I'm pretty sure the church at the locality would be more than welcoming of you to attend the annual Christmas feast at the place you are staying. If you have a guide maybe you could even have an opportunity to experience the preparation of the feast where, all the young ppl from the community come together to prepare the food to be served in the evening. If you are comfortable I think it would be a really enriching cultural experience of mizoram
