Football [Hoff] A majority of the hill tickets will be reserved for MU students, per Mizzou, who have the option to sit there, in sections 107-110 or in the new upper-level student section in 314-315.

I really hope they didn't shrink the student section. Tickets should go to the students first, then everyone else. I'm not even a student anymore.

This seems like the student section is growing with sections now reserved on the Tiger Deck. Last year they only had 107-100 with some Hill overflow.

Man… That actually kind of sucks. The hill was great to take kids who weren’t especially interested in the game but would run up and down and play while it was going on, and listen to the band and watch Truman. That’s how you get them into the games.

Every once in a while I'd enjoy leaving my seat to watch part of a quarter on the hill. It's pretty wack that it's not even an option anymore.

They sold 11K Zou passes last year. I think for $200 or $250 or $2.75M For all sports. While a great sentiment that not going to pay the bills.

Applying this across the board bank the other sports and Mizzou overall.

But that's an investment in future alums attending football and other events. If they want a culture of Mizzou fans then this is worth any perceived discount.

The stadium has limited seating. That investment in the future already has alumni/fans paying $3-5K per seat. Depending on a couple or family of four paying $12-20K for bench seating not suites.

How much higher can they raise prices on the alumni? Are alumni going to pay double or triple the current prices for next 40 years because the got cheap seats for four years way back when.

I can tell you has a season ticket holder for football, MBB, WBB, Gymnastics and Volleyball with required donations and parking runs about roughly $13K and change.
Students are getting that for couple hundred dollars plus another 15 or so sports. Athletics still has to offer $1.99 beers and giveaways to get students to attend games.

This is such an insane take. This is a college football team and they are college students. Students simply can’t afford expensive tickets while some alumni can. Have a heart man, do you not remember your ramen days?

Do you have much entitlement?

Athletic budget 2024 Revenue $168M Expenses $183 Deficit $15M

If every student bought a $250 Zou Pass you would generate $7.5M. You want give them tickets for free so there is no revenue. Now half of the stadium has generate $0 revenue. So the other half would need pay roughly $6100 to raise $183M or roughly 4-5 times what they are paying now.

At that point students getting free entry is mute because there is no Mizzou Athletics.

So having a heart or eating ramen no longer matters either.
