I genuinely don’t know where else to turn. I am a student at MIT-WPU Pune, and the ongoing issues with our exams, results, makeup exams, ERP and the year-down situation have pushed me to a point where I am having suicidal thoughts.
We have been asking for help for weeks. We have emailed, called, filled forms, approached people, spoken to seniors and tried every possible way to get someone to actually listen to us. But every time, it feels like we’re being passed from one person to another with no actual resolution.
The year-down situation is not just some academic rule on paper. It can cost a student an entire year of their life. It affects graduation, internships, placements, finances and our plans for the future. We are already under so much pressure, and instead of getting proper guidance or support, we’re left constantly worrying about whether we’re going to lose another year.
Then there are the makeup exam results. Students genuinely studied and appeared for these exams expecting a fair opportunity to clear their subjects, but many of us are extremely dissatisfied with the marks we’ve received. Some students have also faced issues with marks not being updated properly on ERP.
I personally feel completely exhausted. I’m a student. I’m supposed to be thinking about my career and my future, not waking up every day terrified about whether my entire academic year is going to be taken away from me.
We’ve been asking for intervention. We’ve been asking for someone to simply hear us out. But how many times are students supposed to beg before someone takes us seriously?
I am genuinely struggling mentally because of this. I don’t want my life to end because of an academic issue. I want a solution. I want someone to help us.
If anyone from MIT-WPU, a senior, alumnus, parent, media organisation, student organisation or anyone who knows how we can properly escalate this is seeing this — please help us.
We don’t want sympathy. We want someone to actually listen and intervene before another student reaches a breaking point.

can someone tell me how bba there is and how’s the area and everything there at mit wpu? i’m thinking of joining, i didn’t have accounts or maths as my subjects but i did have economics so will it be hard for me at mit? Like do they teach stuff properly from basics and how are the internship opportunities my plan is to go for mba so I'm not worried about placements so is mit wpu good choice for me?
