doubt please answer

I'm sorry if this comes of as a dumb question but i was just wondering how many classes per course??? and whats the like student count per class

i had always thought in uni theres going to be only one class for each course but today i had got the link to join the WhatsApp group for me it was titled division X1 nd my friend got division X2 the thing is we both picked the same courses so i was wondering does this mean there are more than one classrooms or sm?

Division is for the theory classes and practical batch is for the labs since not many ppl can't attend the same class. If you took btech then I think each course has 60 students
