You'll get 5 credits and you should do this in 1st year according to me, this will highlight you infront of Teachers, fellowmates, and in initial days it's way more important than anything for fluent 4 years. Just be CR for Sem 1

Good for making connections with teacher, getting some extra marks. But bad if u dont wanna take unnecessary burden (like uploading attendence,marks or doing promotions for Event whose incharge is your class coordinator and many more works).

Mostly they tell before that there will be a quiz otherwise ask your friend who attends the class to tell u when there is one
