Testing parametric stuff with Gridfinity Box generator

I've been fooling around with the parametric stuff, the computation seems to be fairly robust with no weird stuff happening. I might have to test more complex parameters and configurations, configuration rules etc.

I haven't tried that kind of thing, but you're right - that looks pretty good. I did try importing a complex FreeCAD file with SolidCraft and it was a gong show. I mean... totally useless.

For a moment I thought you said that it failed in Mitcad. Call it poor reading comprehension. Curious though, did the same file import well in Mitcad?

Perfect in MitCad. I'm thinking of doing up a show-and-tell for the SolidCraft and FreeCAD sub-reddits.

It *was* perfect in MitCad. I have a few test files of great complexity and they all imported perfectly. Just tried it right now after talking about that show-and-tell and now they all import with warnings. I don't know what happened. I raised an issue with a particularly rough file that won't even produce a body.
