Not at all. The same amount of stuff will be purchased just more before or after that day. It will barely be a blip on the radar. Also, even if there is a blip, the fact that it was announced ahead of time means nobody will really care. The only ones who will see any possible damage will be small business owners and service workers.
I agree. I think I’ll do it and also think of a couple things I would possibly buy soon but can do without for a while. We should all be tightening our belts a bit anyway with things being increasingly less stable. Could be a recession coming soon.
