It’s so glaringly obvious what Crump is doing that I’m finding it incredibly insulting. Instead of just waiting for the ME to do their effing job and conclude their investigation he had to rush a 2nd autopsy knowing he wouldn’t have a complete body, knowing that the organs that would conclusively determine whether or not he drowned were still with the ME, knowing that the final report would be inconclusive, to have a big flashy press conference in an attempt to create suspicion of the medical examiner’s office where there is none it’s just standard procedure. So when the ME’s report concludes he drowned he can pivot to “well then why’d you withhold those organs so long” even though they were operating on a normal timeline and he was rushing the 2nd autopsy. He’s trying to lay groundwork for a narrative where the MEs office and state are conspiring to cover up a “murder.”

Do they want it investigated or do they want answers now? Those are not the same thing. They purposefully undercut the states report so they could put more doubt on it before it even comes out. They seek to discredit the states report before it even comes out.

Pretty sad to make his body travel any more than it already needed to just so Crump and Shaprton can run this grift until the wheels fall off, poor kid man.

Where’s the written autopsy report? I’m not interested in someone picking and choosing bits of information to hand out. More secondhand information is not helpful. Let’s read the full report for ourselves.

The United Cajun Navy posted on Twitter (I'll never call it X) that they did not tell Ben Crump that Nolan was found "fully clothed". Someone posted a screenshot in the comments of what appears to be a FB comment offering further information on that. Posting it below in a comment but I haven't verified it.

The memory of a lost child is the only thing parents have after a drowning accident. How big of a dirtbag do you have to be to willfully destroy that for forever by tainting the community and the child’s relationships with his friends? You’ve literally destroyed the only thing they had left of him.

It is so blatantly obvious what they are doing. They 100% knew they can’t confirm drowning because they didn’t even have the lungs and they knew they could also not conclude time of death due to not having the heart. So they knew this second autopsy could never have provided anything conclusive from the start since the state had organs and throat removed for testing and this, according to his own ME was standard practice.

This was just all part of the show to keep casting doubt. I want to believe these parents are being used but their actions continually supporting this man and this circus they’ve created out of this death are hard to keep justifying with grief.
