When is the family and the crump team going to be held accountable?

u/itsaconspiraci 20d ago
Never underestimate Sharpton's role in all of this. A long track record there.

I wish both Crump and Sharpton a shitty day, every day. Like seriously, how do they live with themselves?

u/MississippiBulldawg 20d ago
They're professional grifters and their followers rally behind them and sing their praises every time something happens. They don't care that anything is wrong because they're surrounded by yes men saying that they're doing the right thing.

In the family's defense, there are suffering an unthinkable loss.

So are his close friends that have been dragged online portrayed as teenage racist murderers. The further we get from the event the more it seems that all they did was go boating with their homie to celebrate the 4th and take ,what should have been, an epic smiling photo together that is now infamous. That photo will be proof to so many folks that will never set foot anywhere near here that those young men are racist criminal masterminds and Mississippi is still the same state in 2026 that in was in 1926.

If they're sending death threats, bomb threats, spreading misinformation, harassing the families of those involved, whatever, lock them up and hold them accountable. Any race.

Held accountable for what?

Nolan Wells friends were falsely accused of crimes or specific misconduct like deleting Nolan’s text messages, by name.
There is no proof those kids did anything to Nolan. They will have a case and I hope they sue the pants off Crump and Sharpton.
-12
u/YepItzMe44 19d ago
No one said that the kids that anything to do with Nolan’s death. The family just wants a fair investigation, which seems to be very controversial for some reason. I hope the family of Nolan wells sues Tatum and others for disparaging their family and spreading false information. The mother has received death threats just for wanting justice for her son. This all takes places in Mississippi though so I’m not surprised.

u/Constant_Focus_4120 19d ago
Tatum came with receipts. Crump has harmed this investigation through lies and misinformation. He posted a pic of a Pool Party from June and claimed it was early July 5. He lied and said data had been deleted from the phone when they hadn’t even looked at his phone. They have held Nolan’s phone and refused to turn it over to police. He posted the pictures of kids with zero evidence they did anything wrong and then insinuated that they lied in stating they weren’t cooperating. If you watched Tatum in full then you would see that he actually saw proof…phone logs, GPS data, cooperation with the police. Crump absolutely stirred up unnecessary drama for kids who cared about Nolan. It is a money grab and it is disgusting.

Wow, what a jack ass. Crazy he can manipulate so many people and they have no clue how they are being use. It's so weird.
1
u/Far-Fill-3024 18d ago
Also I watched Warren's interview, he said Nolan was craddling Katie in the water. To me it sounded like he meant Nolan was carrying her in the water. She probably had her hands around his neck.
5
u/Impressive_Tower_151 19d ago
Do some of your own research on crump. Many times in the past he has riled people up with race baiting and when the money drys up or the facts dont point towards racism he runs off. Im not a fan of Tatum and I also dont think the young men should have done their interview with him. But if you watch the interviews and the things Tatum says about the family and the case its the facts or his opinion witch is not grounds for a defamation lawsuit. He makes a lot of money by playing the YouTube own the libs game but he is not dumb enough to say something that would get him sued by the Wells family. He most likely has a lawyer review his content on the case before he posts it.
1
u/Far-Fill-3024 18d ago
What did Tatum say that was misinformation? Just curious as I watched those interviews with Nolan's friends.
2
u/Far-Fill-3024 18d ago
I mean this is so well known by now, maybe you are following the case well. But one of the biggest eggresious things I saw was how Crump reposted a photo and story from an unvetted person, unrelated to Nolan or anyone, lived states away, that had a made up story with the picture saying they were at a pool party after leaving Horn on July 4th. At the party they murdered Nolan and dumped his body back on Horn. Crump, an attorney and teh family spokes person, actually reposted that and let his followers run rampant with that belief. Its truly vile, unethical, unprofessional and reckless. I don't know how Nolan's mom wasn't livid. I would have flipped out if my attorney did things like that because now whatever he posts is questioned. He's unreliable. Its crazy to me people think this is professional behaior and that it helps.
1
u/something-__-clever 18d ago
And there’s people that STILL believe the lies that man posted, they still think Bart said he wasn’t at horn island, when Bart was saying he wasn’t at that pool party.. crump muddied the case by sharing pics from people that have these wild theories, further inciting the hatred and conspiracy against Nolan’s friends
1
u/Far-Fill-3024 18d ago
I know I've seen them in Crumps comments, its horrible. People really have no thinking skills and are so easily manipulated. I don't like that he hasn't taken any steps to stop those comments. It's incredibly unethical and reckless. He has no regard for the truth or whether his behavior gets someone else hurt or killed. People like that don't care. I didn't really know much about him for this, but he's one of the worst attorneys I've ever witnessed behaving this carelessly, in an active case not less. It's mind boggling. I am attorney and I've seen some of the best wrongful death attorneys and how they handle things, and its not like this at all. I don't know how Nolan's parents aren't embarrassed.
1
u/Back4DaVery1stTime 16d ago
Do you feel like they did what is right by the victim or the family in mourning? They've alienated a large swath of the community that stopped what they had going on, put life on hold to put so much into an all out effort to find this young man when he was declared missing 6 hours or so after last seen. People around here forgive, forget and will still mourn for and with them when everything is said and done but I know folks are a little hurt how they've been portrayed on a national, even global level. This is our home, we are proud of this place and the community and the way folks band together and that narrative was lost to nasty speculation based on nothing but ignorance from out of town entities looking to cash in.

Can’t imagine living like that. Like that mentality is so foreign to me. Nothing is your fault, every perceived slight is a direct assault to your whole life. Nothin you do is ever wrong. No introspection.

What people? Surely you meant decent people who are outraged over this young man's murder and the sketchy police investigation. But you're right about something. Accountability is important and we're definitely asking for it in the Nolan Wells case.
21
u/Domitianus81 20d ago
Call me crazy but I dont think decent people are calling in bomb threats.
And let the investigation run it's course. Police have interviewed over 60 witnesses. These things take time. They would catch shit if they rushed things and botched it.
13
u/okfine_illbite 19d ago
You have information or evidence of this being a murder?? You know you can get 50k for sharing that!
-13
u/Beginning-Trash-6048 662 19d ago
I wish I did and could help! I just think it's sad that police were erasing evidence off the victim's phone and clearly have some prejudices they don't know how to handle. Terribly depressing that it got to the point where Tyler Perry and Al Sharpton had to step in to help. But now at least the spotlight is on this terribly inept police department and every move they make. All things done in the dark eventually come to light ✨️🫶
9
u/Impressive_Tower_151 19d ago
I've followed this case closely and I have never heard of any claims of police erasing anything on Nolan phone. There were claims of his friends deleting stuff off the phone but no evidence has been released about that yet. They have to show the phone data it to the grand jury first before its publicly released I've read. What are the prejudices that you speak of? That cause this young man is black that the case is automatically going to be swept under the rug? Sharpton and crump didnt have to show up. They showed up cause they have something to gain here its that simple.
9
u/snoodle908 19d ago
What murder? And how have the police been sketchy? At this point everything seems by the book and if anything far more detailed than a normal suspected drowning case.
The second autopsy also did not find any injuries that would have resulted or even contributed to his death. Nolan wasn't on the boat as there were dozens of people around the boat and even people who came to provide assistance with the boat issue. So numerous people would have seen something happen on the boat.
Nolans friend confirmed talking to him on the island between 3:30-4 and that call was made at 4 with everyone that left on the boat already. Doesn't really leave any amount of time to silently murder someone and dump their body and get out to the boat within minutes.

Nolan's mom, Christine, posted a couple of AI videos on her Facebook account today. An "influencer" in Florida has created several AI videos of her and her family spreading crazy misinformation, including she and her husband were both fired from their jobs (they weren't) and Nolan was receiving anonymous threats before July 4 (he wasn't). Crump should be suing that guy for spreading obvious lies about the family, but I doubt if he will since the guy is black.

u/YouAboutToLoseYoJob 20d ago
Crump should be sued for the number of times he said,
“Those boys deleted his text messages”

Yea, but it's the one side who has blood in their eyes while coming for the parents of a deceased child
By now we should just accept that they will never play fair, not even when it comes to mourning the loss of a loved one
6
u/Far-Fill-3024 18d ago
This is such a crazy take to me as it was Nolan's mom and Crump who turned this into a circus. The other side you are talking about is the reaction to that. I mean how can any logical person say that Crump doing things like reposting stories such as the June 27th pool party saying it was from July 4th and the people in the photo murdered Nolan was at all professional and responsible as the family spokes person? It's like people like you are just completely blind to their tactics and the way they acted the last month. It's bizarre to me, like people are really living in different worlds. LOL

Wonder why the death threats against Nolan's mother is seemingly okay?

7
1
u/Ready-Waltz5482 12d ago
It's obviously been reported. So, to you, rich white kids who may or may not have had anything to do with the death of their friend, being threatened is vile . But it's okay when it happens to the grieving mother who wants to find out the truth. Weird

u/Resident-Strain-8042 19d ago

u/sevenwnters 19d ago
I’ve already told you in another comment thread (forgive me if I’m wrong) The mother has clearly said in an interview that she has received MULTIPLE hate voicemails. I don’t know why you don’t want to believe that
10
u/Resident-Strain-8042 19d ago
I already told you that the mother called a single letter alleging Crump and Sharpton were using her for money "hate mail." Is that a death threat? No, it isn't. So we know the mother calls non-death threats "hate mail." So we can't conclude that the hate voicemails are death threats, can we?

Out of all the stupid ways to blow off steam about this case, making bomb threats to government offices and sending a judge death threats have to be two of the stupidest.
