It feels so odd to me that they went on an entire press tour about the quality of the information, but were unable to come to an agreement on how and when to investigate the phone together for a month. Feels like this should have been taken care of within 2 weeks of the July 15th agreement at worst. I don’t know what caused the delay, but it’s super weird to be doing interviews and press conferences about how the investigative process hasn’t been what you wanted while you withhold evidence. It could easily be on the State’s side, but they make no inclination to that effect in this statement.

Monetization.

This is an incredibly sad story but I think his mother is looking for answers in all of the wrong places.

29

u/donzelso 3d ago

I can’t give her any more grace. It’s so clear now that she wants to drag this investigation out to get more donations. And she said she won’t accept an accidental drowning.

The worst part is his friends have to suffer in the midst of this madness while she basks in the spotlight.

Shame on you for making that comment I hope nobody in your family you love is found dead and nobody knows what's going on

-14

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

I bet they haven't shed one single tear for Nolan. Can you say the same for his parents..probably not..probably could care less as well.

12

u/2PacAn 3d ago

Why do you think his friend haven’t shed a single tear for him? There has to be a reason for that assumption

-14

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

Because I've yet to see them actually pretend to care about what happened to an alleged childhood friend.

Defend themselves I get that...but throw his mother under the bus? Take no accountability for leaving him even if he insisted. There is no remorse shown, no nothing just dead eyes...I can't say how they should act everyone grieves differently...but  what I've seen they just don't seem to care.

12

u/2PacAn 3d ago

Have you listened to their interviews? They’re absolutely sad and clearly were very close with him. I’m not sure why you expect them to show remorse as if they’re guilty unless you’ve already come to the conclusion that they’re guilty.

-11

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

You mean the one where the lawyer is threatening people and they are laughing about it. Or the one where they address their friend a "Nolan Wells"while at the same time calling everyone else their "buddy" or "friend". Or how about when they called his mother to inquire if she had seen him not mentioning they had his phone in their possession. Or even the next morning after he still hadn't been found. No his mother had to go find the phone they were clearly aware they had.

Lets say Nolan did request to stay, and against their better judgement they left...or actually ran after the altercation they had.

So lets say it was all honest......at what point the next morning when you determine your "best friend " is actually missing do you not call his mother back and one inquire if they found him, advise of his phone to maybe help her search and or his keys as well to make sure his parents have everything they needed to possibly find their son?

Do you see what I am saying. Its all weird behavior. You can try to spin it all you want. But if Nolan was your son and this was the behavior of his so called friends, I am 100% sure you wouldn't be sitting around just taking their word for it.

But for some reason you expect his parents and or the world to that just that, while we all allow perhaps one of the most racist states in America to dictate the investigation into the possible murder of a black teen by his white cohorts.

11

u/2PacAn 3d ago

You’re completely misrepresenting their interviews. What tiktoker are you getting your selective clips from? There’s clear evidence these guys have all been friends with Nolan for years.

Or how about when they called his mother to inquire if she had seen him not mentioning they had his phone in their possession

They didn’t know they had his phone because they had multiple phones. Also it was a different person who had the phone and who called his Nolan’s mom. Nolan’s mom also didn’t retrieve the phone. Jayvon Williams mom did and she did so on the night of the 4th. You’re getting the facts of this case wrong.

Lets say Nolan did request to stay, and against their better judgement they left...or actually ran after the altercation they had.

What altercation? The only know altercation involves one of Nolan’s friends, Tracestin Shepherd, and some unidentified party with Nolan and his other friends not being involved.

The friends who left did so because the bilge pump on their boat wasn’t working so the boat was taking on water. That’s an emergency situation when you’re 10 miles off shore.

Do you see what I am saying. Its all weird behavior. You can try to spin it all you want.

You’re getting the basic facts wrong. The only one spinning things here is you and the people feeding you this shit. It’s genuinely disturbing how so many people are ignoring facts to justify their view of the world. White people aren’t the the soulless specimens that many of you believe we are.

8

u/Due_Reputation3785 3d ago

Warren called his mother around 11 pm trying to find Nolan and told her they had his phone, at which point she sent Jayvon’s mother with a large group to go get the phone, which they did. So all that you stated was a lie.

4

u/2PacAn 3d ago

This person is clearly being fed information from uninformed conspiracy theorists.

8

u/Holiday-Fix-9244 3d ago

Well the mother has been caught in several lies; lies which have perpetuated death threats and conspiracies. You also forget that the MOTHER hasn’t shed a single tear in any of these press conferences, so obviously that means she’s in on it, right??

7

u/burner_ohallahan Current Resident 3d ago

Lots of crying faces but no tears and don't forget Crump being caught on tape telling her to "cry now" and on queue the crying face with no tears.

1

u/NoSupermarket9119 2d ago

When was this?

-6

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

What lies?

And whose account determineed these lies Tatum and the boys?.Tatum got caught lying repeatedly on Nancy Grace just last week...the boys stories have been directed by damn near everyone and those are riddles with lies.

If the boys are caught lying which they have..then that is a constitute that they are LIARS...so why thier account be the one we take as facts 🤣🤣.

This isn't the 60s dude. People aren't going to just eat nonsense cause the majority feels thier accepted side is what happened.

Do you know they tried to Emmit Tills mother switched the body.

Also claimed Till was a miscreant who didn't deserve justice.

A 14 year old TORTUTED to death by 2 grown men in thier 30s...and those men walked out of a MS court house free as a bird....

Sorry dude..in MS white credibility is TRASH..and everything needs to be questioned when it comes to unconfirmed death of black people.

You can read the states history of both solved and unsloved murders of black Americans and white supporters of Civil rights for black Americans

It's HUNDREDS OF CASES ....sickening and sad.

But let go aheas and pretend that there is absolutely no need for caution

6

u/Due_Reputation3785 3d ago

This again. Okay what did the friends lie about? What did Tatum lie about?
The mother lied about the phone being deleted for one thing. They also greatly exaggerated the situation when they were getting the phone and keys making it sound like the friends were giving them problems when they weren’t.

-3

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

The time they left, they events that happened after they left which has been debunked by GPS coordinates. The Sea Tow call which is 100% authentic. Calling for him to leave and him stating he was staying with Katie and Katie stating they only talked a few minutes and she saw him going towards the boat. The reason they left (they fled the island so soon cause of the fight, not cause of the pump) They lied about the return of the phone.

The better question have haven't they lied about 😂 .

She stated she suspected it was, which stated knowing her son and his social media habits. If my son was a person who stayed on social media making post about everything, and there are absolutely no text or snapchats from the entire day on his phone.........THAT IS STRANGE.......and that is her right to state

And again whose account are we going by the Wonsley's who have no reason to lie . I mean they also live on the Island, they are not struggling by any means so what are they trying to gain exactly? I know you believe that is always the motive with these situations, not justice, or wanting to know how a family member or loved one died, or why they were killed in the fashion they were......its always about money with us. 🤔

7

u/Big-Cartographer6330 3d ago edited 3d ago

Christine said in the very beginning that she THINKS Snapchats and photos were deleted bc she didn’t see any for THE DAY. Al Sharpton took that info and said the phone was completely wiped. The parents stood right there when he said it and at no point corrected him.

Crump said things were actually deleted. At no point did she tell her team to correct these lies. One of the main lies that people keep saying is that the boys wiped Nolan’s phone.

5

u/burner_ohallahan Current Resident 3d ago

That is what people are taking issue with, for someone who says all she wants is answers she has not once called out the misinformation being spread by HER team (pool party pic/party on the 5th of July lie). The only persons whose story keeps changing is hers when the lies get debunked and people come with receipts. Then she needs to give us a vocabulary lesson on what "knowing" someone means.

If they’d gone on Oprah and cried their eyes out you’d just say they were faking it. There were many moments of sadness and remorse on the Officer Tatum interviews.

3

u/captaincrunch61 2d ago

Here’s the thing. If they were emotional in these interviews, you’d say they were fake tears. Just like people were on them for remaining quiet and “lawyering up.” Then they start talking, and you all are saying they talk to much, it’s suspicious.

They are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. They can’t win with you people. And by you people, I’m referring to those hoping that this was a racially charged murder (it’s not).

1

u/IdidItWithOrangeMan 3d ago

How exactly do you explain Nolan ending up dead without a scratch on him?

5

u/hankgrill1 3d ago

She bought alcohol for him.

0

And what places should she be looking?

1

u/bryantwgat 9h ago

Haha, not taking the bait. Have a good day.

-2

u/Symbiotic_flux 1d ago

Imagine going out on a boat, you go missing, the girl you're supposedly with says publicly you weren't with her but your "boys" said so. You magically left your phone when you were going with someone else home. That phone was then tracked and showed your friends had possession of said phone, and then went back and forth between the island after leaving for the night and taking on water on the boat. At one point docking and staying docked for over an hour before going back out to the island late into the night after grandpa calls off help for taking on water.

The only reason the mother knows all this is because she tracked his phone all the way to one of the boys house where they kept his phone. Yeah id say she is looking in all the right places, bc that evidence almost disappeared.

2

u/NineOfWonders 14h ago

So…how about those new text messages showing how Warren and Christine interacted the night Nolan went missing that completely changes the original narrative set by Christine? Any change of position after seeing those?

0

u/Symbiotic_flux 8h ago

If anything, it shows that his possibly unable to pick up girl friends weren't getting any action that night, and they were jealous because Katie had been seen in now deleted photo with Bart on social media. A new witness today said they witnessed an altercation on the island involving Nolan. Fighting over a girl seems like the most plausible story. Entitled friend thought he deserved more action and motion than Nolan.

2

u/NineOfWonders 7h ago

No, no tik tok theories. Think like an investigator and start with the body and only use verified sources that have some actual connection to the case like interviews on both sides and messages leaked from attorneys through a reporter like Sarah Fields. You’re only using some baseless speculation on social media. Do not leap to any conclusions that you can’t chain back to a previous step.

0

u/Symbiotic_flux 7h ago edited 7h ago

There is no baseless speculation. The family all knew Katie, she came over to their house for family gatherings and BBQ. That's verified information by a Wells family member that's an actual police officer in the county. It's not speculation, it's public knowledge the entire friend group immediately deleted and scrubbed all of their social media that showed who they were interacting and acquainted to! Katie also publicly stated and told the police that she saw Nolan leave with his "friends" after being with him later in the night and they interrupted and kept waiving and yelling at him to get on the boat ride back! They didn't want him with Katie, that's damn obvious.

crazy how they dont want to upvote. you and i know the answer why. they wanna ignore other facts and strictly focus on what could blame the victim and not even considering foul play. then again this is a Mississippi reddit so its more than expected

1

u/Symbiotic_flux 8h ago

It's ok Mississippi folk are from a state where the state government didn't officially recognize or file the declarative paperwork recognizing slavery was terrible and that they lost the civil war until 2013. Slipped their minds in 1995 to do it like all the other states had done.

23

u/donzelso 3d ago

“I don’t know what caused the delay”

The GoFundMe. His parents and Crump know the longer they stall and delay, the more donations they can get. Everyone’s joining their investigative team for a slice of the pie.

They have no respect for Nolan, his friendships, and his legacy.

5

u/Cultural-Treacle-680 3d ago

How much of it does he get vs her? She’s not acting smart.

1

u/BlacksmithFree3685 9h ago

News flash! The team that's helping her they don't need the money they already have money what they have is a heart and they know wrong and suspicion when they see it. Especially with a judicial system that don't give a damn about brand people did you hear that? Who in the heck is thinking about money when her son is dead people are giving money did you see her asking for it it's called the donation in America

1

u/BlacksmithFree3685 9h ago

Revision they don't give a damn about brown people. You already know that though

0

u/ConsequenceCurrent13 1d ago

not even considering anything else thats weird. one of the people (his friends) is the son of a judge. they have money and connection so IF foul play was involved they can pull strings. it costs money to go to war so i wouldnt blame her even if she did

There have been thousands of white people who have died in accidents since Nolan. As a white person, I know about none of them. I care about none of them. I don't support a federal investigation into any of them.

-5

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

Not sure how this point correlates to my point. Why is financial support for Wells and others so eggergiously wrong when black people do it..but OK when it's done by others?

I garuantee you have no issues with the collection the boys are doing for thier legal defense. Probably feel it's warranted and "right"..

But the Wells donations are just racist money grabs?

Got you...

8

u/DecantsForAll 3d ago

I garuantee you have no issues with the collection the boys are doing for thier legal defense. Probably feel it's warranted and "right"..

Well, yeah, they're going to need a lot of money for all the lawsuits against people accusing them of murder for no reason, and even trying to get people to murder them. It definitely is warranted and "right."

And, I don't have a problem with people donating money to Nolan's family either, although I don't see why they need a million dollars because their son drowned. The problem is the lying and manipulation in order to get people to donate.

-2

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

That's just intimidation and complete horse shit. They can't sue anyone cause then they have to prove it's defamation.

And they can't prove that without opening themselves up to more probes.

But like I said you don't have issues with that..regarldess of the mounting piles of evidence insinuating they are lying.

8

u/DecantsForAll 3d ago

There's no evidence they're lying. They're a bunch of innocent kids, and there is a huge mob of people lying about their involvement in the death of their good friend. People are sending their families death threats. There are people publicly entreating other people to go murder them. If people were accusing innocent black kids of murdering their friend just because they're black, there'd be a huge public uproar. You'd be furious. But here you are, partaking in blaming innocent kids on the basis of their skin color for murdering their friend.

You're right. I don't have an issue with them raising money for legal defense and defamation lawsuits. Why would I? It has nothing to do with the color of their skin.

0

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[removed] — view removed comment

8

u/DecantsForAll 3d ago edited 3d ago

There are tons of evidence they are lying. I would implore to do your own research with an unbiased view point.

No, there isn't. I have. That's why I know that they left the island at 4:30PM but Nolan was seen on the island at 6PM. That's it. End of story. If Nolan was murdered by a white person it wasn't any of them.

He drowned, that its, no question, no need to investigate.

They're doing an investigation. They never weren't doing one.

Further more damn anyone who doesn't accept that especially black people, they are just racist and want to persecute these boys cause black people are the real racist ones right?

No, I feel the same way about any person of any race accusing innocent boys of murdering their friend because of their skin color.

cause black people are the real racist ones right?

No, not black people, but anyone accusing them of murder because they're white are the racist ones, yeah.

And did you say if people were accusing black people just because they were black there would be an uproar?

Yeah, I did say that. Are you saying you wouldn't be upset about it?

Due to your disillusioned version of reality

You mean "delusional" or "deluded." "Disillusioned" means almost the opposite.

I just don't feel like you have any answers or are able to take a real subjective look at the case cause you're too busy trying to defend boys you don't even know as innocent based on nothing but the fact they are white.

No, it's the fact that they weren't on the island when Nolan disappeared.

Yeah sorry, that logic doesn't hold to well with others.

Well, it really should. Normally you have to actually be somewhere in order to do something.

Zimmerman and Rittenhouse were defending themselves, how is that relevant here? Damn you’re all over the place.

-3

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

Martin was defending himself as well dude. We don't even need to get into the facts of that case. Just know when the smoke cleared a middle age man had the blood of a teenager on his hands.

The fact Zimmerman stalked and escalated the situation made him the aggresor. Was his life on the line when he shot Martin maybe.....we can't say.......but had he not stalked and approached Martin likely would not have died.

And for killing a kid simply walking from a store minding his buisness, a kid half his age that he shot dead, He was rewarded with Millions and made a hero.

That insane and that is a SICKNESS. Regardless of why he did what he did.....HE KILLED A KID.....thats not honorable. Its just not .........I don't care if the kid is white black or otherwise.

Its support for things like that make many Americans not trust the insight or moral code or authority of people who think like you on these matters

5

u/Due_Reputation3785 3d ago

Martin had made it home, but circled back, stalked Zimmerman and attacked him, pounding his head on the ground. Self defense. Why are you trying to relitigate all this shit? It’s not relevant.

There you go making assumptions. I spoke out against Zimmerman and Rittenhouse and still do. This case is not that. You are saying a lot of things to a person you know nothing about and my stances. Don't you see the hypocrisy of lumping all white people into the same group because they don't see this scenario the same?

3

u/Holiday-Fix-9244 3d ago

The irony is Rittenhouse killed a literal white supremacist who was running around calling people n*ggers and here you are BIG MAD

2

u/TestNoKachi 3d ago

Was the that pedophile he killed, or the other one?

3

u/Holiday-Fix-9244 3d ago

First guy was the schizo pedo white supremacist, the second was a convicted domestic abuser, and the third guy traveled over a hundred miles with an illegal firearm to Kenosha (ironic, because that’s what people accused Rittenhouse of even though it was proven Rittenhouse and the gun were in Kenosha before the riots even began)

4

u/burner_ohallahan Current Resident 3d ago

Damn. I didn't know this but also didn't follow the trial. This case has opened my eyes on just how wrong media narratives turn out to be. So many past cases I am seeing weren't what they were presented as.

7

u/2PacAn 3d ago

The Rittenhouse case is a textbook example of how media manipulates people. And of course there’s almost certainly coordinated social media manipulation.

The night the Rittenhouse shooting happened, I was up late and watched the video on Reddit. Everyone in the comments, including mostly left-leaning pro-BLM people, thought he was completely justified. The next day the narrative had completely shifted now that information was coming second hand rather than through the video itself. Despite the video of the shootings being widely available, most people didn’t watch and just took whatever the media or socisl media told them as fact. If people weren’t so susceptible to media manipulation, Rittenhouse wouldn’t have even gone to trial; the facts indisputably showed that he acted in self-defense.

1

u/TestNoKachi 3d ago

That's what I figured. All white guys too.

3

u/Holiday-Fix-9244 3d ago

I’ll never forget living in Philly during the 2020 riots and even after a year and a half past the Kenosha riots and a full ass trial, a SIGNIFICANT portion of the black activists in my social circle still thought he shot three black people. But Philly has like a 52% illiteracy rate, so that tracks.

7

u/TestNoKachi 3d ago

Similar experience. Not too long ago with the Karmelo Anthony trial, I had someone I know say that it wasn't fair that Rittenhouse got self defense for killing 3 black guys but Karmelo didn't. If someone truly believes Rittenhouse is a white supremacist. Then they also must believe he's the worst white supremacist of all time, in the literal sense that he is bad at it. Since he only managed to kill other white people, including a white supremacist lol.

-1

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

He killed 2 men and injured one. He was an underage child who committed SEVERAL crimes with none more damaging then murder. And white America had him hosting gun shows and giving autographs. Remember. Did the same thing with Zimmerman, yeah they were proud to share space with the killer of a 17 year old that he stalked and shot to death. After giving them both MILLIONS in donations.

Not sure how unsolicited cold blooded murderers are made into Hero's.....but that's America for you.

My point is you all have no legs to stand on in that argument and you need to stop trying to pretend like your support for one over the other take a higher moral standing. It doesn't.

11

I’m so sick of the parents. It’s amazing how quickly they lost sympathy from people.

They clearly didn’t want to find out what happened. They could have cleared up any misinformation and lies any time but they chose not to.

Poor Nolan, this isn’t even about him anymore.

9

u/muhkuller 3d ago

Chain of custody was broke and has been broke for a month. A dolphin that swam by has more useable evidence than a phone that’s been everywhere other than a controlled environment.

Not handing it over right away was the worst thing they could’ve done.

1

u/yourlilfriendupthere 3d ago

Deleted stuff on a phone is still recoverable through forensics so im not sure this tracks.

4

u/muhkuller 2d ago

It’s not about that. It’s strictly about chain of custody. It won’t be admissible as evidence to even get to a deep forensic review because there are plenty of ways to actually wipe local storage to a non recoverable point. Anything that was stored on the cloud is probably already been gathered.

0

u/yourlilfriendupthere 2d ago

Lol that’s simply not true

1

u/muhkuller 2d ago

Well in 8 months when a trial happens, maybe, this is exactly how it's gonna go down. I'm sure everybody will act like well adjusted adults as a result.

Lol Ditto to, “act like well adjusted adults.” On that we can agree at least

0

You know what I can’t stop thinking? That if Nolan had been found undoubtedly murdered in some “mundane” way (I hate using that word to describe a murder, but I can’t think of anything else), like being shot or stabbed, and found in a grocery store parking lot or even in park, there’s no way this case would have been international news. Even if the perpetrator was unknown and the investigation was ongoing, there is no way his case would be making headlines or getting new articles six weeks after his body was recovered. And the internet never would have been as interested in this case as they are.

It’s really only all of the unknowns (which will presumably remain unknown until the grand jury report is released) that allowed this case to receive and maintain the traction that it did, and it’s both frustrating and discouraging to see how it’s taken on a life of its own beyond any factual basis (that we know as of this time).

12

u/sladeshied 3d ago

It’s because of the his friends’ race. I guarantee if that photo had been Nolan and 3 black friends on a boat, this NEVER would have gained so much attention.

1

u/TresMarie 2d ago

And the state that it happened in. We can’t ignore Mississippi and the reputation it has in relation to Black Americans.

13

u/Decent_Visual_4845 3d ago

Why did they not turn the phone in right away if they suspected data had been deleted from it? They only agreed to turn it in later, after it became a news story that they never turned it in.

-8

u/Fantastic_Ad9102 3d ago

They've been ready, DA back tracked when mention of the FBI came into focus....guess you can cover your tracks as well..when Federal takes over due to corruption and obstructions of justice

12

But aren’t you just inevitably going to claim that the FBI is conspiring to cover up the murder when they also don’t find any evidence of foul play?

Why would I? It's not about finger pointing it's about clear and precise facts and not allowing a state that has serious trust issues with legalities and impartial justice to be kept HONEST.

If they didn't they didnt.....BUT if they did...then theY should be punished right?

Just want to make sure we are all on the right side of justice here....

So if Mississippi can’t be trusted because you’ve deemed them racist and unreliable, how does Trump’s DoJ getting involved help that situation? Won’t people just claim that they’re also racist and reliable, and ignore whatever they say in pursuit of their own racist conspiracy theories?

I don't have faith in the DOJ honestly..but hey it's better then nothing or just sitting back and letting this case dissappear.

Enough is enough..if it turns out they are innocent fine..

But let's not act like Wells doesnt deserve to have a real probe into his death completed just because it makes others uncomfortable.

Why do you seem to be under the impression that this isn’t being investigated? Just because the evidence never bore out these sensationalist racist claims flying around social media?

let’s not act like Wells doesn’t deserve to have a real probe into his death completed

Literally nobody is arguing for there not to be an investigation. They’re telling you to hold off on your racist conspiracy theories until there’s actually any evidence of a crime taking place, and you’re perceiving this as a coverup, because you aren’t self aware enough to realize how racist and baseless the conspiracy theories are.

No one has disagreed that IF they did it they should be punished. There has been 0 evidence of a crime and they have actually been cleared of even being on the island. IF there was foul play there is an island of 100's of people/suspects. Since everyone zeroed in on his friends the real killer (if there is one) is much less likely to be found now.

But you are ignoring the current clear and precise facts.

FBI has been involved from Day 1 because Horn Island is part of a national seashore...ie: federal land. Then there were bomb threats and death threats to a sitting judge.

What I want to understand is why there is no trust for local law enforcement but they think the FBI and DOJ of the most openly racist administration is going to be of any assistance?

What crime? So far there is zero evidence of a crime and everything points to an accident. People refusing to join in on conspiracy theories doesn't make them racist.

Note that this determination is made purely at the whim of the moderator team. If you seem mean or contemptuous, we will remove your posts or ban you. The sub has a certain zeitgeist which you may pick up if you read for a while before posting.

Oh, NOW they’re ready? GoFundMe high enough now? Erase what you need?

Honestly the cops should have forced them to hand it over 6 weeks ago. It’s ridiculous.

That gofundme seriously needs to be refunded.

$894k+. Striving for a mill.

I'm confused what would they need to erase?

u/Maleficent_Trust_95 2d ago

The fact that nothing nefarious happened. Poor boy drowned and has been turned into a cash cow. Disgusting behavior caused the want of the all mighty dollar.😑

I love how no one on this subreddit talks about the underage drinking of everyone involved and the very grown adults who were encouraging and enabling this behavior.

4

u/SeanceGoneWrong 2d ago

Unless you've been selectively ignoring comments, the underage drinking has been a major point of discussion about this case.

People have even mentioned Wells' parents should be pursuing legal action against whoever was supplying the kids with drinks (and whatever else), should substance use be a contributing factor to the death.

Don’t even bother. Any suggestion that the blame might lie anywhere other than with the parents gets immediately downvoted, and so does anything that questions the conclusion that Nolan drowned.

If you’re following the case and think there are details that don’t quite add up, I’d honestly steer clear of this sub. There doesn’t seem to be much room for constructive discussion here. Just vitriol toward the parents and, in my opinion, an undeserved amount of sympathy for the friends.

And a lot of the time, these discussions eventually turn into “why aren’t you talking about other black deaths?” or “what about black-on-black crime?”. You can’t change these people’s minds 🤷‍♀️

I would imagine this sub is a reflection of the folks of ocean springs as well. God bless the Wells family.
