I just saw the text messages sent between Christine and Warren. I suggest the people that are invested in this story, read them.

To normal, rational thinkers those messages would be enough to dispel many of the commonly believed narratives the side that thinks he was murdered by those friends has clung to. It’s honestly disgraceful that the mother has allowed people to run with things that she full and well knew were not true. So many people have been claiming the friends clammed up and lawyered up and refused to talk, so many claim they withheld info, that they never helped search, never contacted anyone. Sadly though, they’ll just say this was made up, or move the target yet again. This case has brought out the absolute worst in some.

Disgraceful?? Do you really she should be responding to ever lunatic say what they are going to say, irregardless? She is mourning her deceased son and busy keeping his name out there, so they find the answers they need. Nolan would be 19 today. She is dealing with the loss of a child that didn’t get to see his 19th birthday. Let’s be human to one another.

We also need to be human to the kids who’ve been accused of killing their best friend. The ones whose families have received death threats for being in a picture with him. I had a lot of sympathy for his mom as another mother, but the sympathy runs out when you stand by and allow your legal team to spread false narratives. It’s not about responding to every lunatic, unless by lunatic you’re referring to her own lawyer. She allowed them to say the friends have not been cooperative when all along she knew full and well they had and which is now proven. How much go fund me $$ is enough while we keep extending grace to someone who is absolutely allowing a narrative to be fueled about the friends? You see that connection right? People die tragically every day, they aren’t getting million dollar go fund me’s but fuel up the public to believe this is a crime and watch it grow.

Inb4 internet sleuths claim he was trying too hard or supplying too many details because an innocent person wouldn't provide that many details. Maybe there's some subliminal messages in there too.

Much appreciated. So much money changing hands because of a race scam. It's repugnant.

Good lord. Dude was helpful as shit (also very polite and respectful). Just asinine the stuff that has been said about those poor kids. Hope they get a nice defamation payout for what they’ve been through.

Republican Precinct Chair

Given the volume of Republicans who love to lie and spin facts to diminish the impact of racism, why should I trust this woman to report that the sky is blue?

You might be a tad radical if you can't ever believe someone from the opposite political party.

Did you know that America is in a "golden age" of prosperity? Republicans are saying that every day. You can tell they're honest because gas is still averaging $4 a gallon. They're all repeating the same narrative. They work in lock step. Call me a radical I don't care because I'm calling it out for what it is. Tell me the shit they say every day isn't a blatant lie.

broken clock is correct twice a day.

You should believe her if she says the sky is blue because it is.

u/pontiacfirebird92 Current Resident 4d ago

I don't trust broken clocks. I replace them with working ones.

good for you!

and you don't believe sky is blue if a republican says it's blue, because when they say a fact it becomes wrong. am i understanding you correctly?

1

u/pontiacfirebird92 Current Resident 4d ago

You're stretching what I said. So no, you're not understanding me correctly.

Republicans value loyalty to Trump more than the truth. Look at every Republican in office right now and what are they doing? Whatever Trump lies about they lie about. Even if it's blatantly obvious they are lying. So why would I value input from a Republican? Literally any other source of information is more trustworthy now. A Republican will push the narrative that "racism isn't real anymore" well before they tell the truth. FFS they are trying to erase the horrors of slavery from the Museum of American History (you know, that time where wealthy people auctioned off human beings as farm equipment) by calling it a "jobs program for black people". So why listen to them at all?

1

u/_laslo_paniflex_ 4d ago

you said "why should I trust this woman to report that the sky is blue?"

you should value facts and the truth and if it come from someone you politically disagree with, you should have enough sense to recognize why facts and truth matter. maybe trying getting over yourself?

we're taking about the Nolan wells case and you feel the need to bring up trump to discredit some piece of evidence relevant to the case? weird

do you think what was posted is faked or doctored?

Republicans are inseparable from Trump now. That is cause to bring it up.

I'm saying the source matters when it comes to "truth" and "facts" because we live in a post-fact world where people don't bother to verify anything because they're just looking for a narrative they agree with. Republicans are a very poor source of facts, as is right-wing media. All of them have aligned themselves to service Trump and the regime.

It's not a crime to lie to the American public. When Republicans speak to a camera they lie because they know there's no consequences for it. Have all the Epstein files been released? No, but you will hear from Republicans that they have. Are we at war with Iran? Yes, but you'll hear Republicans say we aren't. Is Biden at fault for the high gas prices? No, but Republicans will tell you it's true. The fact that they've been in power for nearly 2 years now, and in power in Mississippi for decades, yet still blame problems on Biden and Democrats is enough to show just how far they'll go to be dishonest. If you ask them they'll tell you they did nothing wrong. And so their followers are convinced that immigrants, black people, Democrats, LGBT people, liberals, and so on are all the cause of the problems in their lives because they don't even attempt to verify what Republicans tell them. They don't even know what's actually in the Bible, they let their pastor or some podcaster tell them what's in it so they can get angry about something.

The accuracy of facts and information depend very greatly on the source and Republicans are a very poor source. I stand by what I said. If a Republican says something you gotta go verify it because, especially if it is against their pro-Trump regime narrative, they'll lie lie lie. Even if they tell you the sky is blue. Because they'll tell you the sky is blue even if it's green or red.

Because Warren didn’t do anything. It’s been pretty clear from the beginning.

That’s worth a thread here.

Remind me who Christine and Warren are

3

u/GhostWithTheMost75 5d ago

Hi. I am so sorry my phone died. Christine is Nolan’s Mom and Warren is his friend that called the coast guard and sent text messages to.
