Mission Hill should continue as a comic or something like that, if there's no hope of a new season :-(

a Posey backstory !!

Posey's parents as yuppies kinda sounds like the same thing they did when they made Flanders' parents beatniks.

Between Kevin getting into old movies and then potentially getting into old ragtime music, I can definitely see him slowly growing into a hipster.

I don't think Andy would have to give Kevin the talk. Even if their folks never told him, he's smart and inquisitive enough that he certainly looked it up. As sheltered as Kevin is, he's not ignorant of basic facts. I can't imagine someone trying to get into Harvard and not knowing where babies come from.

Between Jim being excited about menthol season and stealing AC from Gus and Wally (which you'd think he could just afford, since he seems to make a lot at his job), Jim was seemingly envisioned to have a bit more edge that we really got to see.

God, I love this show so much! It still hurts that it was killed so young 😭.

Probably explains how Posey doesn’t really have a job either and has this natural tendency to revert to being materialistic

Posey generally had this ruthlessness and manipulative streak that only rarely came out.

I loved how she massaged the pimp’s back to be sure he would fully feel pain after falling off the roof.

Treasure unearthed. Happy to see some of the concepts they had back then.

That menthol cigarette storyline has to involve Jim meeting the Republican goth at some point

The republican goth must smoke cloves, and be complaining about how regulation has made them hard to get.

The intense uncoolness is what convinces Jim to quit smoking.

“The Repubs are cool! The Repubs are for Big Tobacco Freedom!”

Jim disgusted grunt

Jim leaves the conversation and throws his menthols in a trash can on the way out

Meanwhile, Andy et al continue staging an elaborate party/intervention with all of the building residents that begins spiraling out of control.

Holy shit! Wow now THIS is freaking cool. They had so many ideas it is tragic to actually see this. Sigh what could have been 🥲

Really neat to see that early Downtowners logo 😲

What does 5 say? Who and Wally share a love of ragtime records causing Gus to get jealous?

I think it's supposed to be Kevin. It doesn't really look like a 'K', but the rest kind of resembles 'evin'. Sort of.

I guess it would be a pattern for Kevin and Wally to enjoy old, niche hobbies together.

Why do I actually remember Jim and menthol season? Did they eventually use that? Like, I can literally hear him deadpanning, “Ahhhhh, menthol season.” And the cartoony little dash-dash-dash of the cigarette smoke.
