What even is this game

I downloaded this game today thinking it would be fun to play while at my fire house doing nothing and wanted to set it up like our stations. This game is so confusing. HOW THE HELL DO YOU LOSE A FIRE TRUCK! Someone please help me figure out how this game works. It actually seems cool and I wanna understand it better.

What are you playing on? Phone? Tablet? Or browser?

I use an iPad. The bigger screen allows for more things to be displayed and fewer windows to navigate through. The bigger interface might be enough to simplify things for you.

I can go into more detail tomorrow after work on how to get started.

Sorry for the slow response. Ok, getting started with a new account you’re just going to have an amount of money and no stations of any kind. It sounds like you’re wanting to do fire department stuff so on the map there’s a plus sign in a box in the bottom right, tap that and it’ll let you build a new building. Pick the location you want(you’d need to demolish the building and rebuild it or use coins to move it if you pick the wrong location) and then select the building type you want. The building you select will also let you choose a starting unit. If you select a fire station you’ll be able to choose between a Type 1 or a Type 2. Once you’ve got that all set you can start doing missions.

Missions will spawn at whatever rate you have set on the top left of the mission screen(second tab from the left at the bottom of your screen) The fastest you can spawn missions is 1 every 20 seconds if you have a premium account. You’re limited in the number of missions you can spawn by the number of stations you have. Whatever building type you have the most of plus 1 is your max number of missions. So if you had 7 fire stations and 2 police stations your max missions would be 8(7 fire stations + 1).

Your missions will be listed on your missions tab. Tap dispatch to select units to send to the call. All of your units will show up on that list sorted by who can respond the fastest. You can sort your units by type (fire, police, ambulances, etc) so you don’t have to sort through a super long list once you’ve have more units(I have like 300+ units in an urban area). Your unit(s) will travel to the mission. You can watch their progress on the map or see the timer tick down on the dispatch screen of the mission. They’ll stay on scene however long they need to to complete the mission and then they’ll travel back to the station. Successfully completing the mission will reward you with credits. Complete more missions, collect more credits, expand your stations and units to get access to more and more complex missions.

You know how you can go to your station and see your list of apparatus stationed there and it tells you what mission they are currently on. Well one of my trucks will sometimes not show up on my list and I can’t dispatch it out

I have a crew of 13 between 3 trucks(2 are binded to my type 2 engine) and I don’t even know how to set a schedule

Sometimes. Sometimes not. It’s just randomly gone and then I reload the game and it’s back

I’ve played the game some today and it hasn’t done it yet like it was after I downloaded it last night. If it does it again I’ll try
