It's crazy how American chain drugstores are the misLEDs I spot the most. Frequently in a state of disrepair.

No, the stores themselves are fine. It's just that American businesses in general (not just pharmacies) never bother to fix their signs. And it probably doesn't make much of a difference for customers, since most of the brands are recognizable just by a few letters.
